LGA

The Ladies’ Golf Association (LGA) at Bend Golf Club (BGC) has a long history of providing fun, competitive opportunities and social events for women players of all ages and abilities, with both nine- and eighteen-hole organized groups. Our nine-hole group is especially welcoming to new golfers, if you are returning to the game after a long absence, or just want to spend less time on the course.

A BGC membership is required for an LGA membership. Membership dues for the LGA cover most ladies’ golf activities except for lunches and formal tournaments, such as the Ladies’ Invitational and the Pinecone Classic Member/Guest. Wednesday is “Ladies’ Day” at BGC, with preferred tee times for women, as well as fun weekly games. We also organize a variety of other competitions (both “serious” and “fun”) and social events.

We participate in the Central Oregon Golf Visitation Group (COGVG), allowing our members to attend both nine- and eighteen-hole visitations at other area clubs. The modest fee covers golf, cart use, and a luncheon.

Our Central Oregon Women’s Team Golf (COWTG) offers competitive, lower-handicap golfers opportunities to play against seven other local teams in tournament formats at their courses. There is a fee for each of these events.

Oregon Women’s Golf Association (OWGA) is an all-Oregon group of over 23 private clubs that offers golfers the chance to play at other member courses. Golfers with handicaps below 28 are invited to play and have lunch at clubs such as Portland Golf Club, Columbia Edgewater, Royal Oaks, Waverley, Broken Top, and many others. This is a great way to meet women golfers from around the state. There is an annual fee, as well as individual event fees.

Come meet new friends and enjoy our beautiful course. We’d love for you to join us!
