MGA

The mission of the Men's Golf Association (MGA) of Bend Golf Club is to advocate for, encourage, promote, and create opportunities for our adult male golf members to learn, play, and enjoy the game of golf in a competitive but friendly environment. We aim to build camaraderie and new friendships throughout the season through participation in our regular Thursday Men's Day games as well as our Masters, Member/Guest, Winchester Member/Member, Mirror Pond Invitational, Club Championship, and Chapman Member/Member Tournaments.

The Men's Golf Association, in cooperation with the general manager and club staff, promotes and conducts golf tournaments, special golf events, and related social activities for men at Bend Golf Club.

Every Thursday during the golf season is Men’s Day, with preferred tee times and MGA-organized weekly games featuring a variety of formats designed to keep the game fun and interesting and to spark competition within the club. A Bend Golf Club membership is required for MGA membership. Membership includes the ability to register for all MGA-sponsored events through the year, invitations to the annual kickoff and year-end banquets, complimentary beer on select Thursdays, among others. We also organize a variety of other competitions (both “serious” and “fun”) as well as social events. On occasion we partner with other local clubs to hold “Home and Home” events to inspire competition with other MGA groups.
